Rapid Receipt Details

When you add a record from the Rapid Receipt Details form, you are able to consecutively add items to the stock receipt. You are also able to lock the Location, Item, Quantity and Unit of Measure field with a value so that you do not have to continually scan it.

Important: To use the Rapid Receipt Details form, the option must be turned on at the User Preferences form.

Rapid Stock Receipt

The rapid receipt feature is designed to accelerate stock item receipt. It uses a field lock feature and it enables you to continually scan the items until the item receipt is complete.

To add an item to the order by using the Rapid Receipt form, follow the steps below.

  1. Site: the default site of the logged-in user is automatically placed in this field. If you wish select another site for item receipt.
  2. Location: Enter the location where the item will reside. If you are receiving multiple items to this location, you have the option to lock the location so that you do not have to continually scan it during the item receipt. Tap the Lock icon to lock the location.
  3. Item#: Enter the item that is being received. If you are receiving this item to multiple locations, you have the option to lock the item so that you do not have to continually scan it during the item receipt. Tap the Lock icon to lock the item.
    1. Serial Number: If this item is serialized, enter the serial number for this item.
    2. Lot: If this item is a lot item, enter the item lot in this field. If you are receiving multiple items with this same lot number, you may lock the Lot so that you do not have to continually scan it. Tap the Lock icon to lock the lot.
    3. Expiration Date: If this item is an expiration date item, enter the expiration date in this field. If you are scanning multiple items with this same expiration date, you may lock the Expiration Date so that you do not have to continually scan it. Tap the Lock icon to lock the expiration date.
  4. RFID Tag Number (if applicable): If the item uses RFID, you may enter the RFID tag number(s) in this field; see "RFID Item in Mobile App" for more information.
  5. Quantity: Enter the amount of the item being received. If you are scanning multiple items with the same item quantity, you may lock the quantity so that you do not have to continually scan it. Tap the Lock icon to lock the quantity.
  6. If using the default receipt quantity orders preference setting, the default quantity will automatically be entered and locked in this field; see "User Preferences" for more information.
  7. Unit of Measure: If required, enter the item unit of measure in this field. If you are scanning multiple items with this same unit of measure, you may lock the unit of measure so that you do not have to continually scan it. Tap the Lock icon to lock the unit of measure.
  8. Continue scanning the items for this Receipt order until you are finished.
  9. When you are finished, tap the Cancel iconCancel icon to close the Details form and return to the Receipt form\Details tab. The items have been added to this order.

  1. Tap the Save icon Save icon to receive the items and close the Receipt order.
